International Math Challenge (IMC) is an online competition platform that lets students from more than 140 countries take timed math exams, track results and earn certificates and medals — all fully online. The competition has been running from Bangkok, Thailand since 2012, and the platform now serves 50,000+ students per season.
The challenge
Running an international olympiad means thousands of students in different time zones taking the same exam securely. The platform has to handle registration, payments, exam delivery, anti-cheating measures, scoring and certificate generation without downtime during the 24-hour competition windows.
